In addition to hat making I also love to dabble in Medieval cooking! My first 3 cooking attempts were well received and took 1st and 2nd place at a kingdom level competition where I have to tell you...I WAS PROFOUNDLY NERVOUS...Luckily my judges were simply amazing and I had an excellent time sharing with them and taking in their knowledge.
Now, a year later, I feel like my documents are doing very little by just sitting in a file on my computer. I figured I would publish them here. Please feel free to use them to add to your own research as long as you are properly citing the information and creator (Mundane Name: Erin Fortney).....because, yo, that was hours of work :)
Below, I give you the recipes, plus a little extra knowledge. Please keep in mind I am in no way an expert, I just like to learn and share the fun bits that are found.
I give you: Chicken Pastry in the Lombarde Style, Mixed Pickled Vegetables and Custard Tarts!
Super Spiffy Tidbit Time: Many of the cookbooks mentioned in the documents can now be located online for all to use!
